Not long after the last
of these pictures were taken, the Covid-19 virus hit the world and to comply
with the island lockdown regulations the railways stopped operations.
At the start of July, social distancing requirements on the island have
been removed, but there is so far no indication as to when the main line
railways will re-start services. However, the Great Laxey Mine Railway
restarted on Saturday 4th July with the Groudle Glen Railway due on the
following day.
